YWAM Atlanta is proud to announce that we are adding Mission Adventures to our ministries! Mission Adventures is a program designed to take the pressure off of youth pastors and group leaders to plan out and put together a mission trip for their students. “We do the work so you can do the ministry” We want to empower you as a youth pastor or group leader by doing the leg work for you so that you can minister to your students as you were called to do! We have found a great way that we can support the church, youth and the world in need around us is by giving youth pastors and their youth groups the tools they need to transform the world around them!

At Mission Adventures Atlanta we will provide food, lodging and a well trained, professional staff to suit the needs of your group. Your group will receive training about how to share the love of Christ effectively and then go out on the streets of Atlanta and the surrounding areas to practically apply what they have learned. Your students will learn what evangelism is and what it is not. Many times as Christians we have been made afraid of the word evangelism because of negative connotations that it will make us look like used car salesmen or force something on a person that they do not want. At Mission Adventures we want to take away that stigma and present many biblical and practical ways that you and your group can share your faith to see lives change! That is just the beginning. We can also bless the homeless, refugees in Georgia and other youth in need.

In this week long period you will see your students grow like never before. We do not want to offer a mountain top experience that some camps or conferences might produce. While these are awesome times and students need those experiences, we want to offer something lasting. The skills and lessons you take home with you from Mission Adventures will help you and your group transform the world around you for years to come by showing the love of Christ practically. The truths that are taken home with you after a week of teaching and outreach to real people in real life situations will give you and your group confidence in public ministry and to see the life changing power of the Gospel at work.
