We come from a land down under!

Kia Ora M.A.

We’ve just got back from an awesome winter full of adventures… 36 young people from Narrabeen, Australia and Whangamata, NZ travelled to Vanuatu to get involved in some awesome projects. Here are our highlights:
-  Two 10,000 litre water tanks constructed in rural communities;
-  One bush dispensary built and stocked, with healthcare training giving to local mammas;
-  Home visits and prayer… we saw a deaf lady healed, a man walk for the first time in ten years after a stroke, and heaps more;
-  Our 20 foot shipping container arrived from NZ, and supplies were distributed to schools and communities in need;
-  Our lads from Whangamata performed the haka three times at Ifira Island’s independence celebrations and broke the stage!
- Naomi from the new Mission Adventures Wollongong base (Australia) came with us and did an awesome job helping us all out - watch those guys in the future!

What’s next?
-  A team from Taupo Christian School is headed to Tonga during this school term, where they will be working with a range of schools and church ministries.
-  In late September our team of young adults and not-so-young adults will be going to Cambodia. This trip is in partnership with Steps of Justice, so we’ll be getting involved in justice awareness and working with victims of injustice.
