Lotsa Clicky Action in January! | Image Courtesy Alex Hinds via Dreamstime.comIn January We Served 6,542 Pages to 1,461 Visitors
January was our best month so far. The New MissionAdventures.net has been live for almost six months and we’ve served over 35,000 pages to nearly 7,000 people.
Popular Content: The Usual Suspects and a NewcomerMmmm… Pie Charts! The MA News section has continued to be a popular destination for our visitors. I’m glad that so many partners have posted fresh content there. We had a dry spell in December, but partners have posted some great stories and our readers responded. So keep those stories coming! As usual, YWAM Salem gets lots of views too. Kudos to Tim, Big Mike, and the crew in Salem. I am praying you’ll see an increase in teams as a result of your consistent efforts. The MA Insider has proven quite popular too—you may recall that this blog used to be password protected, but since I figured out how to make it work without a password, we have seen a lot more traffic. It appears that many of our visitors are enjoying a “peek behind the curtain,” so to speak. I believe this will create more interest and drive more teams to your outreaches. Feel free to post to the Insider as well—just keep in mind that it’s now a public place, (anyone can visit) and that the primary audience is your fellow YWAMers that minister in MA programs around the world.
What Happened on January 18?Look at that Beautiful Spike! We saw our biggest day ever on January 18—more than 100 visitors and over 400 page views. I was curious, so I looked into it. Here’s why it was our biggest day yet:
- YWAM Las Vegas posted an MA News Story about their upcoming outreach to India
- They then posted a link to this story on Facebook and asked their staff to do the same
- I found it and “liked” it, as did some others. (It had some action on the Twitters too)
- All this liking and tweeting resulted in triple our normal traffic and the article shot up to the most viewed page on our site in just a short time.
Moral of the story? Keep posting news stories and get the link out to the facebooks and twitters—and ask your staff to post it to their social networks too.
So there you have it!We’ve had our best month ever, but I don’t think it will be our peak—let’s all work together to drive traffic to MissionAdventures.net!
